Corona cases are increasing continuously in Kerala, announcement of two-day lockdown

Kerala Lockdown: In view of the huge increase in new cases of corona in Kerala, the state government has decided to impose complete lockdown on 31 July and 1 August. Let us inform that 22,056 new cases of corona were confirmed in Kerala on Wednesday and 131 patients died. Presently 1,49,534 patients are being treated in the state. So far 31,60,804 patients have recovered from the infection and 16,457 patients have died. 

The team will work closely with state health officials, take stock of the ground situation and recommend public health interventions needed to contain the spread of the virus, the ministry statement said.
