Kaddu ki kheer bottle gourd recipe

Kaddu ki kheer recipe is very famous and is preferred in many festivals and also in marriages. Everyone loves to eat this kaddu ki kheer recipe. The kaddu ki kheer requires fewer ingredients to make this recipe. It takes hardly 1hr to prepare this. This recipe looks great and tastes very delicious to eat.

You know that kaddu is also called as Bottle gourd in English, white-flowered gourd. Its botanical name is Lagenaria siceraria.

Let’s start the recipe. To prepare this kaddu ki kheer we need the following ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:                              

One large KADDU

2 Lilts of full-fat MILK

¼ Kg of SUGAR

One cup of MILK MADE

¼ Kg KHOYA

KAJU

BADAM

PISTA

GHEE

SABU DANA (soak half an hour)

GREEN FOOD COLOUR

CARDAMOM

HOW TO MAKE:

STEP 1:

To make the kaddu ki kheer recipe first take the kaddu or louki. wash the kaddu after that peel it nicely. Before that cut the kaddu on its edges.it helps to peel freely.

STEP 2:

Along with that wash the dry fruits and soak it in water for about half an hour after that cut it nicely. Then take the bowl put it on the flame and add two to three tablespoon of our ghee in it.

STEP 3:

After that add Kaju badam and pista fry it. Till it slightly turns in to golden brown. Keep it aside the fried Kaju, badam, and pista.

STEP 4:

In that Kadai add the 2lit of full-fat milk and boil it on a high flame. Till it reduced to its half. Or it becomes somewhat thick. In another bowl add kaddu crush and half cup water to boil it for 15mins.

STEP 5:

After the milk is boiled add the already soaked sabudana rice in it and again start boiling it on a low flame for 15 – 20 mins.

STEP 6:

So, the sabudana becomes completely boiled. Now, 20mins is completed. So add the boiled kaddu in it.

STEP 7:

After that add the khoya, milk made, and cardamoms powder two to three tablespoon full. Boil it for 10 mines.

STEP 8:

So, now our kaddu ki kheer is ready to serve. Take it in a serving bowl.  Keep the kaddu ki kheer in the refrigerator to cool this

STEP 9:

After it cools take it out from the refrigerator and garnish the kaddu ki kheer with the already fried Kaju, badam, and pista.

STEP 10:

It is very nice to see and also a very very easy recipe to make this. You know it takes hardly 1 hrs to prepare this recipe.
