Something that we don’t try many recipes with but today share you a very nice recipe using oat that sports Manchurian. The oats recipe is best it helps in weight loss. It is a healthy diet recipe. Usually, so many people don’t like eating oats. But if you serve the oats in this way as Manchurians then children’s love to eat.

Before going to the method lets know the ingredients which are needed for making this recipe.


150 grams of oats

1 small onion chopped

some chopped ginger

A teaspoon of chopped garlic

2- 3 chopped green chilies

1 chopped capsicum

1 grated carrot

½ thinly sliced cabbage

Season with salt

A teaspoon of pepper


First to make the oats mixture I’ve taken 150 grams of oats.

Add 1 small onion chopped, some chopped ginger, a teaspoon of chopped garlic, and some chopped green chilies. Then add some chopped capsicum, some grated carrot, and some thinly sliced cabbage, season with salt.

I had quite a teaspoon of pepper mix everything. So if you like it a little spicy you can add more green chilies.

Once you’ve mixed all the ingredients together gradually. Pour some water now I’ve added enough water so everything is well combined.

You can see it’s just absorbed all the water and it’s just coming to a nice sticky consistency. Let it sit for about five minutes.

Now you can see after five minutes the mixture has got a very nice consistency. It’s got a very nice binding consistency so now would be a good time to roll them into small balls.

After you rolled the oats mixture into small balls let it sit for about five minutes before deep-frying them in oil.

So now I’m going to deep-fry the rolled mixture. Make sure the oil is nice and hot before dropping them into the oil.

Fry them till the Manchurian balls are nice and crispy and they have a nice golden brown color to it. Remove them and keep them aside.

1 tablespoon of soy sauce

2 tablespoons of chili sauce

3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup


Next to make a sauce for the Manchurian for this take a little oil you can use sesame oil. To this add a teaspoon of chopped garlic, one small onion cut into wedges, half capsicum cut into wedges, sauté for about two minutes.

Add one tablespoon of soy sauce 2 tablespoons of chili sauce 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup. You can see the sauce is too thick and just diluted with a little water.

Now place the fried Manchurian balls into the sauce mix it well. So that the sauce coats the oats Manchurian balls well.


We garnish it with some chopped spring onion greens and serve it hot. So here is an innovative take on oats.
