Hay, friends today we will see the ragi flour recipe. From ragi today I am going to share you the ragi laddu. It is a very healthy recipe. My grandmother has used to make this ragi laddu. So I am sharing with you guys.

Ragi flour 1 cup
Peanut- ½ cup ( roasted and skin peeled)
Jaggery – ¾ cup
Salt a pinch
Step 1:ragi flour recipe
In a large bowl, add ragi flour and a pinch of salt and mix it well Add water to the flour and make the dough. The dough should be very soft so add more water to make a soft dough.
Step 2:ragi in hindi
We are going to make ragi adai out of this dough and hence it should be soft to make it easier. When we press it in dosa taw whit you can see the consistency of the dough.

Divide the dough into two portions. Take one portion of the dough and press it in a tawa or skillet and make ragi adai. Keep the stove in a low flame while cooking. Else it will be burnt from outside and it might not have cooked inside.
Wet your hands in between to easily press the dough we are going to use peanuts and jaggery in this recipe. Both Peanuts and jaggery will have oil in it. So let us cook this adai with very little oil since we are cooking in a low flame, it may take a longer time for the adai to get cooked.
Wait for 10 minutes before you turn the adai to the other side Else it will break off Make two adais from the two portions of the dough. Allow it to cool for 2 minutes else it may burn your hand. After two minutes, break the adai into small pieces. The major part of preparing chimili is making the adai.
Step 6:ragi flour recipe
Now using a blender or mixer, grind the adai pieces, jaggery, and the peanuts together. I have taken half of the adai pieces, half of the peanut in the blender. Grind it into a coarse powder using a mixer or blender adds half of the jaggery and grinds it again.
Step 7:ragi in english
Similarly, we can grind the remaining adai pieces, peanut, and jaggery and that’s it. We can make laddu out of the grinded mixture. Your hands should be wet else you won’t get chimili in proper shape.
Step 8:ragi flour recipe
So take some water in a small bowl and make your hands wet in between to get the laddu in proper shape. This chimili is usually made smaller in size although you can vary the size of the chimili if you wish to have a bigger one.
