Tokyo Olympics: Shooter Manu Bhaker’s spectacular return, can win medal in this event

Tokyo Olympics 2020: The seventh day of Tokyo Olympics is proving to be great for India. Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has performed well in the 25m air pistol event. Manu Bhaker has been ranked 5th in the qualification round. Another Indian shooter Sarnobat is running in the same event at the 25th position. 

Zorana Arunovic of Serbia is leading with 296 points while Ana Korakaki of Greece is second with 294 points.

Manu Bhaker’s spectacular comeback

Nineteen-year-old Indian shooter Manu started with 97 points in the first two series and then reached the top five in the third series, scoring eight times 10 and twice with nine points, scoring 98 points. Manu made a comeback in the second series as well, collecting 10 points on the last five marks.

Ossiek World Cup gold medalist Rahi started the preseason round with 96 points in the first series and then 97 points. In the final series, she could collect 94 points with eight and then some nine points and slipped down a lot. She was ranked seventh among the top 10 shooters with 287 points.
